Has anyone been able to use the At Home covid test to board a flight?
Has anyone been able to use the At Home covid test to board a flight?
We have an 8 am flight FCO to LHR booked.LHR requires a covid test 1-3 days before arrival. Will we have time after checkin to get the termal 3 20 rapid Covid test? Getting the test right at FCO would be easist for us. Looks like they test between 0000 and 1400.
I am traveling to Rome next week on a COVID 19 Flight on United Airlines. Does anybody know where in the Chicago area I can get one of the approved tests with under 48 hours turnaround time? The United app says it has to be a Molecular PCR or Antigen/AG test. The TrustAssure website from United is not very helpful and we have been struggling to find a place to schedule an appointment for the correct test. Thank you!
I am planning to fly from the UK to Egypt via a transit flight at Milan Malpensa airport. If I remain within Malpensa airport for just a few hours, before catching my flight to Sharm EL Sheikh, would I need a negative Covid test certificate on arrival at Malpensa or is it not necessary? Egypt allows you to take a PCR test on arrival at the Red Sea airports such as Sharm, Hurghada etc for only $30, which is much cheaper than PCR tests in the UK.
We are planning on going to Sardinia upcoming Sunday from Genoa. We arrived in Italy two weeks ago with a certificate of a negative COVID-19 test from the Netherlands (out home country). Do we need another certificate to enter Sardinia by boat?
We travel with our camper. We are both not vaccinated and did not have COVID-19 in the past.
Just realised for our BA flights to Naples tomorrow (05 June) that our covid tests were done 2 hours too early and show on the negative test certificates the exact time of 50 the swabs were taken. Will we be allowed to travel? or are they just interested in the date?
Hello currently in Viareggio and need to book a Covid test to fly back to the UK, it can be a rapid antigen test as long as the certificate is in English and it meets certain specificity criteria’s which most of these tests do. Can anyone advise a place to get the test booked please? Thank you
Approved COVID-19 tests include a nucleic acid amplification test (e.g. PCR test) or a viral antigen test that is approved by the local health authority--- so in italy this chain offers
BIANALISI
PCR, Antigen & Antibody tests PCR-PCR
Nasal/Throat Swab
24 Hours
EUR
€70
Antigen
Saliva Swab
20 Minutes
EUR
€28'
SO is the 28 euro test acceptable for flight(antigen saliva swab)
Hello,
I will arrive in Malpensa ar 1 o’clock in the morning and will have my flight to my home country on the same day, at 21:00 but from Bergamo.
In this case, some arr saying that for less than 36h of stay I do not need to make any test, just to fill that passegner form.
My stay in Italy it’s even less than 24h. Do I really need a test? My airline told me to check the country official information sources, but there isn’t specified at transit section if I need to stay in the same airport or not. It’s just about those 36h.
Thank you!
Hi! I need to travel home to England early August, does anyone know where I can get a COVID test that provides a fit to fly certificate in English? Thank you :)
Much the same as when entering Sardinia, the UK requires evidence of a negative PCR test within 3 days of the flight back to the UK. We're still hoping to stay at Hotel la Bisaccia in Baja in north east Sardinia, any ideas how far I'll need to travel to get the PCR test? I expect it'll be a minimum of a hire car journey to Olbia?
