Colosseum/Forum/Palatine hill combo tickets

We are heading to Rome in September and would like to get a combo ticket that includes Colosseum/Forum/Palatine Hill. Is it best to do these self-guided or guided? We know some things have changed due to Covid and so we are wondering if anyone can offer help on the best combo ticket, guided or self-guided, that is currently available for these places.

Colosseum full experience with guide

I have read through the posted links and still cannot figure out how to access buying tickets for the underground "full experience". If I go through anything "buy now" I can't find anything with the full experience. Can someone help me out?

Thank you so much!

The Colosseum opens new subterranean area on June 25, 2021

In 2016, I took the Colosseum Underground and Third Tier tour.

I just read the headline: "Colosseum opens its underground for the first time in its history", and that "...this is the first time in the monument's history that the public has ever been allowed in."

Does anyone have information on whether this is available to book as a tour?

I'm so very excited.

Senior couple on our own in Naples....thoughts?

Hello and thanks in advance. We are going on a cruise in October that does not have enough Italy so want to fly over Early (6-7 days) and get a VRBO or Air BnB and take day trips and do day experiences.. Do you think we will be ok? If we book tours will we be able to navigate getting to where they meet? Will we make out ok in grocery stores? DO they have or do we need Uber or something similar? Are there areas to look for or avoid when seeking housing?Any suggestions or tips of things to do or day tours from Naples would be appreciated- especially ones you have done. Thanks so much- I know I have asked a lot of questions..any answers to any questions greatly appreciated.

PS. We have been to Tuscany area before and some other cities so decided to base here. Might be interested in a cooking experience one day if anyone wants to guide us on that as well

Booking tickets in advance (not Colosseum/ Vatican Museum)?

We are going to spend several days in Rome in the first half of September. We aleady booked the tickets to Colosseum and Vatican Museums, whicha re the most popular. We decided not to go to Galeria Borghese (due to time restrictions they impose).

On website of many other attractions (e.g. Caralla Baths, Capitalini Musea) it is said that one should book in advance. However, is it really necessary, or one may just buy tickets in the ticket office and enter? We would like to have as much flexibility as possible.

recommended guided tours in Piedmont?

Of course we will drive around ourselves but I find you miss things...I have italianna.com and Daniela Maracine as a contact. Are there any other tours you have taken you would recommend?

Capri last week of October

Going to Amalfi Coast last week October/first week November (depending on Covid situation). Thought about day trip to capri (from Sorrento) or due to low season rates, spending a night or two there. Any recommendations? Will restaurants, stores, hotels be open?
