Restaurat in Alghero

Tomorrow I will fly to Sardinia, Alghero and I wanted to ask beforehand if there is a possibility to da a rapid antigentest in Alghero or somewhere else on the island like Cagliari ( since I will be visiting a few cities by car anyway) for free or at least at a cheap price.

Would appreciate any recommendations :)

We are spending some time in Sardinia and have a few days spare en route from Alghero to Cagliari.

Can anyone advise on a nice place between the two for which to spend 3/4 nights?

We will be travelling by public transport between the two so we need it to be easily accessible by train/bus.

Hello, we are planning a faily trip to Sardina next week (for 7 days) landing in Alghero, and are wondering how the situation looks in light of the wildfires. It's fairly hard to find real specifics on what areas are impacted, where it's safe or not safe to go, and if it's better advised to cancel a trip or not.

We are on holiday for 3 weeks in Alghero, been here for 12 days now. We are so much in love with this place! We live on Via Lido. And we need help! :) We are completely lost regarding the bussses. It seems every AF bus into town is 20-30 minutes late according to our app and bus plan or does not arrive at all?

Can someone help? Is this normal?

I am 5 months pregnant and have a 5-year old so we depend on busses to and from town. While writing we have been waiting for the AF for 26 minutes…

We found our bus plan online on the company website and use the Moovit app.

We’ll have 3 dinners in Bologna this September and 1 or 2 lunches (depending on day trips). Although I’ve found some previous posts with restaurant recommendations, I wondered if someone might provide updates. We’ll be staying at the Aemilia and are willing to take taxis or buses as well as walking. Looking for the ‘classic’ regional specialties and the price point isn’t really important except we don’t have a Michelin star budget.

I have seen that some tourists have touched upon the subject of car rentals in Puglia. However, I really need your advice. As we are preparing for our trip, I noticed the prices are extremely high in car rentals. As we have a lot of places to see during our 10 days, we could not make it without a car.

Do you have any ideas/advice/suggestions on car companies (Bari Airport, preferably) that have more normal prices?
