Hello again,
It's 90 days until I (hopefully) visit the lake and I always like to be prepared before I travel.
I've looked around at the different excursion companies but they seem be general Lake Garda companies and some of the trips I look at are not available from Limone.
Does anybody know of the best ones to use from this location? Just get an idea of what I can do, how much it costs and possibly book.
Many thanks
Mark
my mom and I are planning a trip to the Amalfi coast. we are debating if we should fly direct from New York to Rome and then get a private transfer or do the train to Naples or if we should take a connecting flights from New York and fly into Naples and from there get a transfer. Which would be easier?
We are driving from Barolo to Garda, on Lake Garda in late September. After Garda we are driving back to Milan for a few days.
Lots of options, but any suggested itinerary for the road trip to and from Garda?
Thanks,
Flying from MIAMI to Rome on to CAT on Alitalia. Is 3 hours enough to pick up bags and check in for CAT?
Hi,
Looking for a reliable airport transfer from both LIN and MXP airports in Milan, does anyone have any recommendations?
Thank you.
Hi!
In july, I will fly to Milan Linate Airport (LIN). I have to transfer to Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY) to catch my next flight. I will land at 10:05 AM and my next flight at BGY is at 01:30 PM.
I was wondering if there is an airport shuttle between the two airports? If not, I have to decide wether I'm going with public transport or get an (expensive) taxi. Is public transport from LIN to BGY fast? Is it easy to reach and get on? Can I book a ticket online?
Thank you so much!
I am looking for a list of transfer companies that might possibly take my family from Amalfi to Pompeii next week. Is there an updated consolidated list like this anywhere?
We are trying to sort out our plans, but we are debating between two alternatives. The first would have us leave Amalfi in the morning of our final day on the coast and visit Pompeii before heading onto Rome that afternoon. We would likely store our luggage in Pompeii, take the local train to Naples, and proceed from there. The second option is to visit Pompeii from Amalfi and then return back the same day.
there are many ferries between towns around Lago di Garda. Only two ferries btw east and west can take cars, but you can see the opposite bank view without taking the ferry anyway. The idea ferry is btw north and south towns.
Some ferries allow bikes, but not all roads are safe for bikers, especially my partner has terrible eyesight, so he can only bike on places without much traffic, or on specific bike road.
the longest ferry btw south and north takes more than 4.5 hours, and can't take our car. So round trip would take 9 hours, which is not doable. So we can only choose a shorter ferry to see the view on the two sides of the lake. Which ferry has the best view and worth a round trip ferry?
I will be transferring from Delta to Alitalia. How much time is needed
Hello,
We are spending about 10 days in Garda and would like some input about not to miss towns around the lake. Thank you in advance!
