Flying from uk

I am clear about what Italy requires of me to fly there . I am totally unclear what RYANAIR requires of me to step on a plane to get there in the first place. Needless to say it is impossible to speak or contact anyone at Ryanair. Can anyone help me please?

6 months on passport

I’m posting this for information as we had mixed messages before leaving for Italy.

2 of my children only have (just under) 5 months left on their passports. Before booking Ryanair flights to Italy I checked the gov.uk website and Ryanair website that both stated 3 months left on passports was needed. When we came to check in online with Ryanair, there is tick box to confirm you have 6 months left on your passport. Also stated in several places that you must have 6 months remaining. Various further web searches gave both answers. Calling Ryanair I was told, yes it had to be 6 months and we would not be able to travel. Having already booked airport hotel, parking and Covid tests we decided to try to fly.

(We had our Covid tests with collinsons at Stanstead which were excellent and efficient- they take swabs, email results sent in 30 minutes)

The result is - we are in Italy. No one cared/ mentioned the less than 6 months remaining on the passports.

Incidentally no one asked to see our Covid results (they asked if we’d had them before checking in but no evidence asked for)

Hope this helps someone. We had a very stressful preceding 48hours!

UK residents that have recently gone to Italy

Hi, can anyone help. I know until end of month Italy requires UK citizens to isolate for 5 days. Hoping this lifts soon but from what I understand I need a PCR/Antigen test 48 hours before leaving the UK & then a test on day 2 when arriving back in the UK but do I need another test in Italy prior to flying home or just the two tests?

Thank you!!

Self declaration forms for domestic flights

Hi,

I am flying from Catania to Rome with Ryanair. According to the information they provide I need to film in self declaration form. Is it ok to have it filled in digitally on my smartphone? If not do the airport have blank forms to fill in? I don't really have Access to the printer.

Need information for PISA trip with kid

I will be travelling from Belgium to PISA by Ryanair and need few suggestions.

1. Does my 4 years old daughter also need a covid negative test certificate?

2. Is there a place where I can put my luggage( preferably near PISA central station) before doing the city trip? is there any cheaper and reliable option than stowyourbags.com?

3. Do I need to book a ticket to travel from PISA Airport to PISA Central by PisaMover in advance?

Thanks

Travel from USA to Italy and from Italy to Greece

From what I have read on the embassy sites, a vaccinated US citizen can travel to Italy, I see "Last updated: 05/25/2021 Travelers departing on COVID-tested international flights between the United States and Italy are not currently subject to quarantine upon arrival in Italy. I see the same thing for Greece. But once I've traveled from the USA to Italy and then from Italy to Greece, will Greece have an issue with me because I am not flying direct to Greece? I look forward to any comments/feedback, thanks

Flying to Italy with a layover in Paris - vax card/testing?

Hi all - my sincere apologies if this has been discussed but I'm having trouble finding a clear answer. I have to fly last minute to Florence, leaving LAX on Wednesday. I have a layover at CDG in Paris for an hour or so, then on to Florence. It seems I can enter Italy with just my vaccine card...but does the layover in France mean I need a test? Or will my vaccine card be enough?

Thanks in advance!

Entering Italy from Portugal, later entering Greece

In mid-September, we are flying from Boston to Lisbon to Rome landing early in the morning in Lisbon and flying to Rome several hours later. I think I need to fill out the PLF twice, once before our flight to Portugal and once before the flight to Italy. Is that the way it works? I know we also need a COVID test to enter Portugal. We were both completely vaccinated four months ago and have our CDC cards. Three days after entering Italy we will fly to Greece. We need another PLF to fly to Greece right? As of now, Greece does not require a test for those entering Greece from Italy, right? Thanks.

vaccinated US citizens entering Italy via EU list C country

Happy Sunday! Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere, but I wasn't able to find an answer from recent posts.

My husband and I are fully vaccinated US citizens who will be working remotely from Greece for about 16 days. We'd like to go to Italy afterwards (starting around July 6th), and I'm trying to understand the current regulations. Obviously we are not able to take a COVID-tested flight directly from the US (without a lot of unnecessary flying across the Atlantic!), but this page seems to suggest that we'd be okay to enter having spent at least two weeks in Greece, which is on List C:

"For all those who have stayed or transited in the fourteen days preceding entry into Italy in one or more of the States and territories referred to in List C..."

https://www.salute.gov.it/portale/nuovocoronavirus/dettaglioContenutiNuovoCoronavirus.jsp?lingua=english&id=5412&area=nuovoCoronavirus&menu=vuoto&tab=3

My interpretation is that regardless of citizenship, you are clear to enter Italy if you've spent at least two weeks in a List C country, with the requirement of a 48 hour COVID test. Is that correct?

Thank you all so much!

EU is open to USA citizen who are vaccinated...but

why italy is not? it still says 10 days quarantine rule! I am flying next week and still so much uncertainty! Any clue when and if italy will change quarantine requirements soon?

UK travel to Italy for Private Yacht Charter

Hi,

Hoping for some guidance please, we are set to travel to Italy from UK to holiday on our friends privately owned yacht at sea so will only be transiting through Italy on Arrival and then when leaving, as will be at sea the rest of the time. We are both vaccinated and will be doing the required passenger locator/ PCR test prior to arrival.

My question is though, do we have to do the initial 5 day quarantine if we are not going to be on land and won't have an address, and not sure who to contact is its not a charter boat but privately owned by our friends.

I have seen mixed information, however here it says-

https://www.silverstaryachting.com/en/travel-information-italy/

The green pass will be made available to visitors who are fully vaccinated with an EU-approved vaccine, those who have recently recovered from COVID-19, or individuals who have tested negative 48 hours prior to entry in Italy. The green pass grants visitors exemptions to current restrictions such as obligatory quarantine upon arrival or limitations on traveling in between certain regions whilst on a private yacht charter in Italy.

Anyone got any idea or know who best to contact?

Thanks All
