Vaccinated US citizens entering from Romania and Greece

My husband and I are vaccinated US citizens and have been traveling around for several weeks now. We started in Greece, then made our way to Romania last Monday. We will be heading to Rome on Wednesday. We know US tourists can travel to Italy for tourist reasons now (until July 30th?), but we want to clear up any possible issues in being in both Greece and Romania recently.

On the US embassy website (https://it.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/), it points out two forms I think we have to fill out before entry: this self declaration form (https://www.esteri.it/mae/resource/doc/2020/08/modulo_rientro_da_estero__26_08_20_inglese.pdf) and this EU digital passport locator form (https://app.euplf.eu/#/).

My questions a

1) Do we still have to fill out these forms if we are coming from the EU (Romania)?

2) Does the self declaration form need to be printed off and filled out? Or can we fill it in as a PDF on a computer and save it to show at the airport?

3) How soon will these forms need to be filled out? I know that in Greece the PLF needed to be filled out more than 24 hours before the flight. Is that the case with these forms?

4) Is the "until July 30, 2021" date just a precaution in case cases spike again? Like is it likely they will just extend this deadline, or will we more likely need to make our way out on the 30th?

5) Is there anything else I am missing? I know we got stamped in and out of Greece/Romania because Romania isn't part of the Schengen area; are there any other issues with entering back into the Schengen area?

Thanks in advance for the help! We are used to traveling quite a bit pre-covid and only worrying about visas; covid adds a whole new stress.

Need both Eu DPL FORM and also Self Declaration form?

To enter Italy from the US, do I need to do BOTH the EUROPEAN DIGITAL PASSENGER LOCATOR FORM (dPLF) link he https://app.euplf.eu/#/

and also the SELF-DECLARATION FOR ENTRY INTO ITALY FROM ABROAD - link: https://www.esteri.it/mae/resource/doc/2020/08/modulo_rientro_da_estero__26_08_20_inglese.pdf

Or do you just need one of them? And, any other forms needed? We are fully vaccinated and flying out tomorrow from NYC to MXP. Thank you!

Entering Italy from Portugal, later entering Greece

In mid-September, we are flying from Boston to Lisbon to Rome landing early in the morning in Lisbon and flying to Rome several hours later. I think I need to fill out the PLF twice, once before our flight to Portugal and once before the flight to Italy. Is that the way it works? I know we also need a COVID test to enter Portugal. We were both completely vaccinated four months ago and have our CDC cards. Three days after entering Italy we will fly to Greece. We need another PLF to fly to Greece right? As of now, Greece does not require a test for those entering Greece from Italy, right? Thanks.

vaccinated US citizens entering Italy via EU list C country

Happy Sunday! Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere, but I wasn't able to find an answer from recent posts.

My husband and I are fully vaccinated US citizens who will be working remotely from Greece for about 16 days. We'd like to go to Italy afterwards (starting around July 6th), and I'm trying to understand the current regulations. Obviously we are not able to take a COVID-tested flight directly from the US (without a lot of unnecessary flying across the Atlantic!), but this page seems to suggest that we'd be okay to enter having spent at least two weeks in Greece, which is on List C:

"For all those who have stayed or transited in the fourteen days preceding entry into Italy in one or more of the States and territories referred to in List C..."

https://www.salute.gov.it/portale/nuovocoronavirus/dettaglioContenutiNuovoCoronavirus.jsp?lingua=english&id=5412&area=nuovoCoronavirus&menu=vuoto&tab=3

My interpretation is that regardless of citizenship, you are clear to enter Italy if you've spent at least two weeks in a List C country, with the requirement of a 48 hour COVID test. Is that correct?

Thank you all so much!

Self declaration forms for domestic flights

Hi,

I am flying from Catania to Rome with Ryanair. According to the information they provide I need to film in self declaration form. Is it ok to have it filled in digitally on my smartphone? If not do the airport have blank forms to fill in? I don't really have Access to the printer.

Travel from USA to Italy and from Italy to Greece

From what I have read on the embassy sites, a vaccinated US citizen can travel to Italy, I see "Last updated: 05/25/2021 Travelers departing on COVID-tested international flights between the United States and Italy are not currently subject to quarantine upon arrival in Italy. I see the same thing for Greece. But once I've traveled from the USA to Italy and then from Italy to Greece, will Greece have an issue with me because I am not flying direct to Greece? I look forward to any comments/feedback, thanks

Covid test in Bari for traveling to Greece

Hi! Anyone knows if it is possible/where to get a PCR test done in Bari? We are traveling from Italy to Greece and Greece require proof of negative Covid for Swedes. Thanks!

Trip to Positano, Capri and Rome

Hey Everyone... Flying to Italy on Saturday, July 17th with my wife for our wedding anniversary. We are both fully vaccinated. I've been doing as much research as possible but can't find certain answers so any help is appreciated! Sounds like to get into Italy, we need our vaccination cards in hand and to fill out the digital passenger locator form. Is that all we need? No covid test required is what I am seeing.

Also - my understanding is we must test within 3 days of departure from Italy back to NYC. With that said, we are currently doing 2 nights in Positano and 1 night in Capri and then 2 nights in Rome (out flight is out of Rome). We wanted to do 2 nights in Positano, 2 in Capri and 1 in Rome but were worried it may be more difficult to find the right covid test in Capri vs Rome? If anyone could help provide info on exactly which covid test we need to get back to USA, that would be helpful. I checked the website and it was very vague. Also, do we just show our results when we check in at Rome airport or is there an online form?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Do I need PCR/HAT test when returning from Greece

Hello

We would like to go to Greece last 10 days in June and ask for yours help. My question is:

1. do I need a PCR or HAT negative test for the return flight from Preveza to Italy. We will fly with Volotea. I'm a resident of Slovenia. After landing at the airport I will pick up my car at the parking and driving back to Slovenia.

2. do I need any test before flying to Greece to show to the airline representative at Venice airport?

I know that that I must log in to the Italian application before entering Italy at departure and arrival.

Kind regards

Ales

COVID tests for Americans also apply to domestic travel?

Hello,

I am a fully vaccinated American, I arrived in Milan from the US on August 31, and have been in Italy since.

I am traveling to Sardinia (via plane) on September 4. When I booked these flights, I was aware that all I needed to show was my equivalent of the Green Pass. However, now, there are new regulations for vaccinated Americans needing to show a recent negative tests if they have been in the US within the past 14 days. I know this applies to Americans entering Italy from overseas, but does it apply to Americans who have only been in Italy for less than 14 days?

I know I do not need to fill out a new passenger locator form, but I am confused about the test.

I can't seem to find that information anywhere.

If anyone has any information on this, it would be much appreciated!
