Taxi Fare Naples Central to Beverello or Di Massa

I've searched this forum and there does not seem to be any updated taxi tariff info or photo links. I can find one dated 2017 but would assume the rates have increased since then.

Party of 2 needs to get from Naples Central to either Molo Beverello or Calata Porto di Massa (depending on our travel connections) on a Sunday in early October. I understand there is a fixed fare which is 13 euro (from the 2017 tariff). Is this still the fare in 2021? Can anyone provide a link or photo of the tariff for me with the current year?

Also, with the fixed fare does this amount already include the baggage supplement or is it extra? An will the fixed fare be the same for Sunday or is there an additional supplement. Thank you for any help.

Green pass e regole per voli nazionali

Buongiorno

What would you do with 15 days in Italy in December?

Buon Giorno, Advisors;

We scored a great round-trip fare to/from Firenze (kudos to Scott's), arriving on December 4th and departing on the 19th. We've been to Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, and France (twice), but this is our first trip to Italia.

I know this is nearly an impossibly open-ended question, as one can easily spend 15 days in any one city or region. But we're thinking we'd like to maybe spend 3-5 days each in 3-4 places, traveling by rail. We don't want to spread ourselves too thin, but would like to feel like we got a good introduction to Italy.

Our general travel style is to find the authentic and local and avoid the mobs, but should we mainly hit the major buckety-list big city touristy things, given it will be Low Season? Given we're looking at 40s-50s-ish weather and probably a fair amount of rain, is there any point to go to any typically summery places, e.g. Amalfi coast?

Tell me, with the assumption of flying in/out of Florence, what you would do with your time, and in what order. Gratzi in advance for any and all wisdom!

Cheers,

Geoff and Mandy

MXP or FCO during post-covid times

I am "looping" through central and North Central Italy by car October 2021 but have no specific order....can go north-to-south or vice versa or mix and end up central. For "post-covid crowd control," Milan, Rome and Venice are not on my list for this visit. My airport choices for arrival AND departure ore MXP or FCO. (Linate is not an option.) FLR and NAP may also work but only for departure. The goal is to minimize total flying time to/from West Coast and avoid LHR. What is the sage wisdom on MXP vs. FCO. Thanks, all.

Uber or taxi from FCO to hotel within 15 km.

Is it better/cheaper to use Uber or a taxi to go about 15 km. from FCO to my hotel in Rome? Thank you in advance for any info? I read on this forum that there´s an exorbitant flat charge from FCO regardless of the distance.

Bus from Florence to Siena on Sunday

We are arriving at Florence on Sunday 9/22 and hope to take a bus to Siena that afternoon. We can't find a bus schedule and we understand that buses do not run very frequently on Sundays. Does anyone have information on bus schedules on Sunday afternoons.? Should we take a train instead of a bus and would you suggest that we reserve online our train ticket. We prefer a bus but are concerned since Sunday may be a problem with buses not running frequently.

Ease of logistics

Hello everyone

Thanks for any help you can provide with this planning query. We plan to visit 4 places over 10 days late March next year. For few different reasons we have to do those 4 places and have only 10 days. Therefore I am looking for the best/efficient way to get these places. Our flight in and out is from Rome. We need to visit friends/ business in Venice, Tuscany and Naples. My initial thought was to stay in Rome for couple of days then travel to Venice then Tuscany , Naples and back to Rome via direct train. But wanted to see if we should instead travel first to Venice, then Tuscany, Naples and finally Rome to make the flight out easier? We are hoping to take flights and train but could get a car if need be especially thinking of Tuscany. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Senior couple on our own in Naples....thoughts?

Hello and thanks in advance. We are going on a cruise in October that does not have enough Italy so want to fly over Early (6-7 days) and get a VRBO or Air BnB and take day trips and do day experiences.. Do you think we will be ok? If we book tours will we be able to navigate getting to where they meet? Will we make out ok in grocery stores? DO they have or do we need Uber or something similar? Are there areas to look for or avoid when seeking housing?Any suggestions or tips of things to do or day tours from Naples would be appreciated- especially ones you have done. Thanks so much- I know I have asked a lot of questions..any answers to any questions greatly appreciated.

PS. We have been to Tuscany area before and some other cities so decided to base here. Might be interested in a cooking experience one day if anyone wants to guide us on that as well

Suggestion for getting from Naples airport to Praiano?

Should we hire a car in advance or get a taxi at the airport?

Flight at Ciampino airport at 7AM, Reliable taxi

Hey

I have a flight back home on June 26th at 7AM an Ciampino Airport.

I have Alessandro Downtown & Bar hostel booked near Termini. I need to leave at 4AM and the question is. Is mytaxi (freenow) reliable? I want to book it day before but I have heard that sometimes they cancel. Also I heard that price is 30 euros but I searched up online some taxi companies and it's alway 50 euros. How does it look like?

30 or 50 euros is a huge difference for me considering it's not my country currency and for me 50 euor is like 250.

Bascially I'm worried that taxi won't come and I won't reach the airport on time.
