Hi guys, I'm heading to Sardegna in 2 weeks, but can only find really bad stories about car rental services over there. Deliberate rip-offs, false claims reports and so on. Is there any car rental company that ist trustworthy and good?

Our flight is to arrive at bergamo airport (BGY) at 21:45 and I saw some car rental desks are closed at around 23:00 and I'm not sure we will make it on time

Does anybody know of a car rental at BGY airport that provides an off hours pick up or stays open late ?

We're hoping to spend close at least three weeks in Tuscany this coming fall. We'd like to spend several days in Florence and also rent a car for two weeks to see Tuscany. What car rental companies can you recommend for both reasonable price and reliability at the airport? Would it be better and more affordable to rent a car in the city rather than the airport?Thanks much for any answers.

We are flying into Florence next week and staying in Florence for 1 night, at a hotel in the middle of town. We are then picking up a rental car at the airport and driving to a village.

It will obviously be a little hectic, and our hotel is in a pedestrian zone, so we're wondering if we could leave our large bags at the Florence airport, then retrieve them the next day before we get our rental car.

Me and my friend are staying in the Castellamare Del Golfo and we want to be able to take a half/full day chartered boat trip (preferably a catamaran but it does not matter too much). I've had trouble find a service with enough reviews for me to trust/finding a service at all. If anyone has any go-to boat service that they trust, let me know?

My husband and I will be arriving in Florence on November 30 after 4 nights in Rome. On our trip booked for last September we were planning one night in Siena at an Agriturismo. Now that we are coming during late Fall would you recommend just staying 4 nights Rome/4 nights Florence and just taking a day trip to Siena/Tuscany? Is there anything still growing or in bloom in late November? I already have a voucher for 2 nights at San Firenze Suites but have not rebooked with them yet.

After our stay in Venice, I'm planning on picking up a rental car to enjoy Tuscany. I'm fully area of ZTLs as we've driven through Tuscany a few years ago. Any suggestions on an ideal place to pick-up a rental car upon departure from Venice.

We'll be spending four nights car-free in Palermo in mid-September, then heading to San Vito Lo Capo for another four nights. We'd like to pick up a car in Palermo and then return it to the Palermo airport. Is this the best strategy, or is it best to make the trip to the airport for the pickup as well? Any tips on car rental companies much appreciated.

Are there any Olbia hotels with complimentary (or reasonably-priced) airport and/or beach shuttles presently operating? Because of a flight cancellation, we now have to arrive a day earlier, and will have to return to the airport to pick up for our previously-reserved rental car. Hoping to find a hotel on or near a beach with a shuttle to return to the airport so that we won't have to incur these unforeseen expenses (can't amend our current car rental reservation to add a day as that would involve cancelling and starting over, and cars are pricing for more than double the rate we are paying already for 22 days).
